TEEN PSYCHOTHERAPY

SELF IDENTITY

During teenage years, teens are trying to figure who they are, asking “what makes me, me?” This journey of identity can be confusing, adventurous, scary, fun, and stressful for a teenager. It is a natural course of human development and there will be obstacles along the way. It is common for teens to need some extra support during this time.

Sessions are client led and offer the neutral space to work through their difficulties, problems or situations without judgement.

EMOTIONS

During teenage years, hormones kick in and suddenly they are on an emotional roller-coaster! Quick shifts in moods are common at this time and can be overwhelming for both teens and parents. Offering a space for teens to try to work through difficult emotions can help relieve tension. When tension is released in a healthy manner, teens will find that emotions level-out and they can think more clearly.
